Building new friendships with like-minded people

Nau Mai Haere Mai - Welcome to our website

We are a group of people on the autism spectrum who meet up twice a month in the Wellington region. This group is about creating connections with people like us. Our ages range from school leavers to retirees.

Like a river, we grow strong when we come together and are free to be ourselves.

We meet generally meet twice a month to socialise however the group wants to. That could be games, crafting, or just to talk. You are welcome to bring a support person.

We also encourage meets outside of our monthly catch ups. This could be a movie, mini golf, a walk along the beach or bowling. If it’s a special interest of yours, you might be surprised and find others here have that same interest.

If this appeals to you then check out our events calendar below to find our next gathering. If you would like to come along, please fill in the contact form below and we will email you to give you more information.

Testimonials

Laurence

I really like coming to the ASD boardgames group, in Petone and Johnsonville. It has been a great opportunity for me to make new friends, and play a variety of games. I look forward to our next meetup, and to going mini golfing again!

Annabel

I really love coming to the ASD board game meetups in Petone and Johnsonville. It has made me become a more confident person. Everyone there is so lovely and it’s good be around like minded people. Also, playing board games is one of my favourite leisure activities.
